  • <= B>California=20 Modified Assessment (CMA),=20 an alternate assessment that is based on modified achievement = standards in ELA=20 for grades three through eleven; mathematics for grades three through = seven,=20 Algebra I, and Geometry; and science in grades five and eight, and = Life=20 Science in grade ten. The CMA is designed to assess those students = whose=20 disabilities preclude them from achieving grade-level proficiency on = an=20 assessment of the California content standards with or without=20 accommodations.
  • <= B>California=20 Alternate Performance Assessment (CAPA),=20 includes ELA and mathematics in grades two through eleven, and science = for=20 grades five, eight, and ten.
